Transfer Students
TCLA welcomes transfer students to join our small, supportive, values-driven environment where student achievement is our top priority.
We accept transfer applications from students currently attending another US college or university, as well as from those completing post-secondary study at a yeshiva, seminary, or Israeli institution.
For AP and CLEP credits, learn more about our Transfer Credit Policy. TCLA also accepts NYU Foreign Language Proficiency Exams, depending upon your score, and subject to limitations if you studied the foreign language in high school; please see our NYU Foreign Language Proficiency Exam transfer policy.
How to Apply
Complete all steps and submit all materials outlined in our regular application instructions.
Be sure to indicate that you are transferring from another institution. You must have all official transcripts from previously attended high schools and post-secondary institutions, including colleges, yeshivas/seminaries, and Israeli institutions sent directly to the Office of Admissions.
